Welcome to Scott Ivie's Fan Blog

Welcome to my blog, your blog. This is the place where I can really share my thoughts with my fans and motorsports enthusiasts in general.
Whether it be my feedback after a testing session, my comments on a particular race, or simply which book I've read lately that I want to share with all of you, this is the area of my website where we can truly communicate with each other.
As I write this, I'm getting ready to test my # 47 Monte Carlo tour car at Willow Springs this Friday. Hopefully my crew chief has corrected the ignition issue I had at California speed two weeks ago. Two other competitors from ASC will also be testing getting ready for Infineon, Mike Speakman in his #67 Ford Fusion and Kevin O'Connell is his #59 Monte Carlo. It should be a great day and hopefully I'll get that tour car in the sub 1:23's.
In the meantime, take a look around my website. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know your thoughts. And let's have a lot of fun at the races this year!

Good Luck Scott. We will be there on Saturday!
Luis
Hey Scott, too bad Saturday was rained out. We went to the baseball classic on Sunday. Did you get a chance to get out on the track?
Luis
Yes, we went out on Sunday for double header race but the engine wasn't running that well. It felt like and looked that I was down over about 200 HP from the 580 HP the Southwest Tour motor claimed it had. I was actually being pulled by the regular ASC cars with their crate 385 HP motors down the main straight. My times were also off over a full second from last years times I clocked in my ASC Dodge.
Anyways, my main focus that weekend was to get familiar with the car since it was my first time ever racing it. I didn't need to or want to push it to it's full potential since it was just a practice weekend for my purposes.
Scott
Hey Scott, just keep at it. I am sure you will get up to speed. Good luck this weekend.

HEY MR. IVIE
I AM A DODGE FAN AND I HAVE SEEN YOU ROCK EVERYONES WORLD A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. HOW DO YOU COMPARE THOSE CARS WITH THIS CHEVY YOU ARE DRIVING. I SAW YOU TAKE OUT INGLEBRIGHT IN TURN 2 THIS MORNING AND IT LOOKED LIKE YOU HAD A CAR FAILURE DID SOMETHING FAIL ON THE CAR. WELL GOOD LUCK TOMORROW. DR DOOLITTLE
The cars are much heavier. 3553 lbs. vs. 2800 I weighed this morning at tech. However they're about 620 hp's compared to my ASC car at about 400 lbs.
Yes in turn 2 my break pedal went straight to the floor. So I spun the car to the left trying to aviod putting the car into the wall.
BTW, who are you? I only know a few people that call me "Hey Mr. Ivie".
Thanks!
Scott
